• NITE RIDE, the free, late-night transportation service operated by the UI Department of Public Safety is available to all UI students 10 p.m. — 5 a.m. To request a ride, visit: https://niteride.its.uiowa.edu/request/

• GPS-based, real-time Cambus passenger information is available through the Transit app. You might consider “favoriting” routes you most frequently take so you can receive notifications of any weather-related detours or delays.

• The UI Parking and Transportation Department offers free jump-start service for employees, students, and visitors parked on the UI’s main campus. To request service, call 319-335-8312.

Again, outdoor travel is not advised. However, if you must travel, dress in layers, cover exposed skin, and limit your time outdoors as much as possible. Frostbite is possible in 10-15 minutes.
