Last night at 11:29 p.m., the University of Iowa Police Department received a call from a person on campus who reported seeing a male subject carrying a gun near the pharmacy building.
Police from multiple agencies responded immediately to the area and located the subject. After further investigation, police determined the individual had been misidentified as handling a gun. No crime was committed, and no arrests were made.
