The University of Iowa Department of Public Safety is conducting a Hawk Alert test (Thursday, April 8) at 10 a.m. in conjunction with the rescheduled Johnson County siren test. The sirens on campus will be briefly activated in conjunction with other sirens in the area and registered users will receive Hawk Alert messages, if weather permits. No emergency action is needed.

Previous tests, including the one scheduled for March 24 and described below, were postponed due to weather.
